I run because I love food

About me

I don’t like diets. Largely because I like food. Especially sausages, pasta, chocolate, peanut butter, crisps and cake with a nice cup of tea.

But I don’t want to turn into a bloater. So I run about a bit in an attempt to burn off the excess calories. I’m still probably half a stone to a stone over my “ideal” weight according to the BMI chart, but at least I’m relatively happy. People on diets often look a bit miserable, don’t they?

So, this is my blog about running (and other exercise adventures, like a triathlon and playing at being a soldier) and food. Hope you enjoy it.

Hi there,
One of the reasons I love running is that I get to eat alot. I did an 85 mile non stop ultra in August and ate loads. Its weird eating and running. This is my blog entry re the race. http://johnnyultra.blogspot.com/2009/08/85-mile-run-done.html
Your blog is great on you are firmly on my blog role. Would love some feedback on my blog from a pro.
Cheers
Johnny
